Chemical Peels

What is a chemical peel?

A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to improve the texture and tone of your skin by removing the damaged outer layers. Although chemical peels are used mostly on the face, they can also be used to improve the skin on your neck and hands.

Sun exposure, acne, ageing, and pigmentation can leave the skin uneven. Peels are graded as superficial, medium-depth, or deep, and the right type depends on your skin and what you are treating.

What chemical peels can help with

  • Acne and post-acne marks
  • Pigmentation and melasma
  • Fine lines and uneven skin texture
  • Sun damage and dullness

What to expect

The treatment typically takes 30–45 minutes. You may feel a brief tingling or warmth as the solution is applied. Mild redness and peeling for 3–7 days is normal depending on the depth of the peel. We will give you a written aftercare plan and recommend a sunscreen to use.
